The Heavener Utilities Authority is a public trust that manages the operation of the water treatment and distribution, Domestic wastewater treatment and collection, Industrial wastewater treatment, and solid waste collection. The City of Heavener is the beneficiary of the trust.
The Board of Trustees consists of nine (9) Trustees consisting of the five (5) city commissioners (referred to as Official Trustees), with the Mayor serving as the Chairman of the Board, and four (4) Trustees appointed and confirmed by a majority vote of the Official Trustees.
The Board holds their regular scheduled meetings on at 6:00 p.m. on the Third Thursday of each month. All meetings are held in the conference room at City Hall, 103 East Avenue B, Heavener, Oklahoma 74937.
