Officer Mary King has served in this position since 2002 and provides a positive police presence in the Heavener School System. Her duties include: Traffic control during morning drop off and evening pick-up of students. Coordination with school crossing guard and bus drivers about problems that they encounter. She provides random foot and vehicle patrols through out the campus, parking areas, hallways, and athletic areas for detection and interdiction in drug and alcohol use, tobacco usage, and violence prevention.
